Garbage

The metal collars that lock the head to the handles may as well be made of tinfoil. They split in no time, making the loppers useless. This is typical. An otherwise very sturdy tool with one feature designed to fail so you're forced to buy a new pair. Absolute garbage!

After less than 20 minutes of use both handles loosened and one cracked. Returned for a refund....terrible design.

Terrible Quality

On first use (light duty use) the bolt holding half the loppers sheered off, I replaced it with one I had laying around. Next both handles became ungled from the lopper head...
These are terrible of quality, If this is the midrange product I cant imagine what the jobmate stuff is like.
The only Pro was that they cut nice when they held together...

Q: Compound by pass Lopper Replacement parts are unavailable. Please contact your local Canadian Tire store for assistance. I don't have the receipt now, will Canadian tyre replace it based on some authorization at your end. I have hardly use it and the bold has broken

A: It would be at the discretion of the store manager since a receipt is normally necessary in order to exchange or refund a product.
