Can't get parts

We really liked this saw until it needed repairs after less than a year. Unfortunately we lost the receipt for warranty. We took the saw to the nearest authorized repair shop and they tried to order the parts. It needed a chain sprocket and oil pump. After waiting for over 2 months for the parts, we were told they have been unable to get the oil pump and don't know if they will be able to get it. I am really disappointed. This was a great little saw but if it can't be repaired, its no good to me.
No, I do not recommend this product.

i had a lot of chainsaws in my time 40+ years

Excellent product for a old guy like me it great the battery is done so am I lol . The battery life will give you about 45 it get me a full load in my side by side box on 1/2 battery . I was surprised by the amount of power It had more power then my gas powered chainsaw with 32cc . It weighs about the same as a gas powered chainsaw due to the battery be a 40v . I love no gas, smoke, noise, spark plugs, air filters easy to clean . I use it in the woods cuting fire wood cut all the wood in 16" long in the woods . My son came with me he had the stihl MS 180 gas new saw 1 tank of gas he made my day when he came to me an said Dad can I use your saw to finish cut up my load he did still had 1light out of 4 so it can cut more wood on 1 battery charge than MS 180 1 tank of gas . I love this saw it not a saw that you would go and cut all day with but for a small lot of wood it great 2 batteries for this wood it cut short .

Still Happy 2+ years latter

Still Happy 2+ years latter. Much prefered over my 18" Gas. Good power and battery lasts a long time. One small problem is the chain pops off every time I try to cut small (less that 1") saplings. But 2" and up is no problem.

I love this saw.

I bought it 2 yrs. ago with my Canadian Tire money when I was only 70 yrs. old. It's the first thing I reach for, instead of a circular or reciprocating saw. As a woman, I always found gas powered chain saws cumbersome. This saw is light, small, and perfect for trimming branches or cutting planks.

Chain came off and won’t tighten
