Q: If the splitter is on the stand, how do you upend it to check the oil? Too heavy to take off.

A: Tip the machine on the stand. It's strong enough to handle whatever you throw at it, short of backing over it with your truck.

A: No, you must use the wheels from the log splitter. The stand attaches to the axle on the splitter.

A: Hello Jesse, It is regret to say the stand does not come with a cable for pedal control. Per safety regulation the pedal featured log splitter is only allowed to be operated on ground. Best Regards Tina

Q: Any idea if this works with the 6-ton yardworks splitter? I realize it may not say compatible due to 6-ton having foot pedal, but just want to know if the body of splitter will fit. Is it same size as the 4 and 5 ton?

A: As you realized due to 6-ton having foot pedal, it is not compatible with the stand, but yes only from body size aspect the 6 ton model fits with this stand. It is with same body size as the 4ton and 5ton models.
