Stay Away

Broke after 2 months. Tried to take it back to the closer Canadian tire store but even though the product broke she would not order in a replacement for me and told me I had to go into Vancouver to do an exchange and would not give me a refund. Waste of my time. Judging from the quality of this I am sure the next one will be breaking again after a little use. 3A power does not hold up and most of the bits included chipped and cracked as well. Hopefully some other suckers buy the last few so they won't have any instock and I can just get a refund.

No, I do not recommend this product.

WORX MultiTool - first impression, honest opinion.

Was on sale and decided to give it a try. Powerful 3Amps. Need fairly big hands to wrap around the handle. Fine for the first minute or two but must keep in mind because unit vibrates it will fatigue your fingers and forearms quickly. It's heavier than most multitools I've tried so far. Be sure to apply correct dial speed so you don't end up with black burn marks on your wood pieces or too slow taking unnecessarily time. Finer detailed cuts will require more energy on your part as you try to maneuver around objects. Open the box and try the weight and girth of the unit before buying. Fancy over-complicated twisting motion to secure the blades. The blades given are for general purpose only and will need better ones if you are taking to a jobsite or larger projects.

Great replacement for my Rockwell

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the tool. Almost an identical tool to my Rockwell, which I loved. Almost Identical and many features called the same thing. Just wish my Rockwell batteries would work with it. Otherwise, no complaints so far.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Worth the wait.

Every time I tried to order the tool only version of this it was out of stock. It was finally available, so I ordered it and it came in 2 days. I love it. No more fighting the power cord from my Porter Cable electric one. I have many WORX batteries, so it was worth the wait for the tool only.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: What is the difference between a oscillating tool with a reciprocal and jig saw? Do u need both (meaning all 3 or the axis making it 2) for home use? Thanks.

  • A: Hello there. Thank you for your question. For home use we suggest the WX550L https://www.worx.com/20v-axis-recip-jig-saw-wx550l.html Some facts for you: An oscillating multi tool is a versatile power tool that can be used for a variety of tasks, from sanding and cutting to grinding and polishing. Reciprocating saws, however, with their horizontal blade action, are designed primarily for rough cutting and demolition jobs, such as cutting wood and metal aggressively. With their long, slim blades, jig saws are ideal for jobs that require delicate wood cuts. Thank you for choosing Worx tools!
