The Worx WX840L 20V Nitro Power Share 18 Gauge Nail & Staple Gun features a cordless design and an ergonomic grip. It drives 18-gauge brad nails and staples with an adjustable nail depth control and a side load cartridge for easy installation. Capable of firing up to 80 nails per minute, it has an easy release magazine capacity of up to 105 nails/staples. Its 2.0Ah battery can drive up to 500 shots and the 3mm Allen key allows quick tool head access. It includes brad nails, staples, a 2Ah quick charger, a spare no-mar pad, a belt clip, and a Worx carry bag.

Worked great for the first week or two. Then the gun kept jamming constantly to the point I had to return this and purchase another.

Solidly built and heavy. Drives nicely. Only one jam so far. Need to use Allen key to loosen muzzle when jammed. Good enough for the price.

  • A: Thank you for your question. The18 gauge nail gun fires up to 80 nails per minute and up to 500 shots in one charge. So it would just depends on preference if it would be a good fit for you.

Q: I bought the WORX 840L nailer, but it did not have the no-mar pad attached or anywhere in the box. Is it possible to get a replacement part.

Q: What is the crown width for staples? I know the length of the staple can be from 3/4 inch to 1.5 inch, but i see no answers about crown width.

  • A: The crown width is 3/16 in. The gun will not accept anything wider, it just won't close.

Q: Is it me or is there a problem jamming 3/4" & the shorter brads but shots the 1.5-2.0" brads fine? Could this be a reason why you only include the longer brad samples with the nail gun? Just received this gun it's good for longer brads ONLY!

  • A: I’m noticing the same thing. Shorter brads jam the nailer, but longer ones don’t. When I fire 3/4”, every third shot causes a jam. The first brad doesn’t actually get stuck, the rod just fails to retract. The second shot will reset the nailer, then the third shot will work perfectly. But the next will always jam.

  • A: Empty out and/or shoot whatevers left in the gun before adding new stuff. I went from staples to nails only to fibd out there were 3 staples left in the gun.
