Versatility, power.

The multi-sander tool has exceptional versatility. I have use it on large wood projects -wood coffee table and it tight corners, restoring cabinets. I do wish WORX had more available replacemenet pads including a buffing or polishing pad for the orbital attachment.

Unit was missing parts in the box.
I had expressed concern about the box being open when buying it but was told that is because they usually take the battery out until purchase. The battery was IN the box. Had to pay for shipping of missing parts from WORX.

Versatile tool for off grid work

This looks big and clunky in the pictures but it is more compact in person. It is multi functional with a square sanding pad, triangular pad and circular pad. I have only used the orbital sander it was very efficient at collecting the dust. Had to empty dust bag regularly. On high speed continuous operation the battery lasted about 25 minutes. Very handy to have a battery power tool for work in areas with out power. I liked it and it worked well!

A: Hi there, that is a great question. Power Share allows you to share batteries between tools within the same voltage family. If you own additional 20V WORX batteries use your 20V Max Lithium battery with any 20V Worx tool. Run-time will vary from job to job, depending on how each person works. We commonly recommend the purchase of an additional battery or a higher Amp hour (Ah) to conquer any runtime concerns. WORX does offer quick chargers to ensure you get back to work faster. Q: I just received the 5 in 1 multi sander...I’ve looked at the “pictures”, have opened the hyperlock clamping lever, but cannot get the initial plate off....Do you have WRITTEN DIRECTIONS for this product...?

Q: How do you switch the sanders ? Just bought mine trying use for thr first time. I can not get the circular sander to release. Following the pictures instructions not working for me. Can I get some suggestions.

A: The instructions are kind of lame , you actually have to rotate the hyper lock several turns to release or install the sanding heads . They are threaded !

A: Thank you for reaching out! The WX820L uses a standard 5″ hook-and-loop backing pad (random orbit). You can use any generic buffing pads that have the same 5″ hook-and-loop interface—just make sure they fit the backing pad properly. These pads are typically available at most local hardware stores.
