Stinky handles

I read the other reviews and couldn't believe that the handles would smell bad, but sure enough when I got into the store I put my nose up to them and immediately the awful smell was there. These should be pulled from the shelves and recalled.

Went looking for a set of walking poles to recommend to use if they need a bit of help with balance or want to use muscle groups more when walking. Found these to be very affordable and convenient. Have purchased a few sets to lend out and also for my mom. She loves them! She uses them to walk outside pretty much every day, and feels much more confident with her balance throughout the whole year. She finds they help her with balance, but using them also keeps her back a bit straighter. Easy to adjust and relatively light. Great find!

The WDS ascent poles are very lightweight. Easy to adjust to various heights. Anti shock. Offers great stability and support. Good length on the spiked end for grabbing the ground. Interchangeable ends for snow, etc. Good hand grip and strap to keep in place. We really like these poles. We used them in all kinds of weather. Sumer, rain, mud, and even for those winter hikes through the snow. Awesome!

Q: Just purchased these poles. and cannot get them assembled. The adjustable section with the clamp lock is OK. When the inner shaft is extended out of the handle section to pull the three sections together I cannot see how to lock it into extended position
