I bought one of these units and it doesn't pair. It just doesn't work and this is the thrid time I'm now going back to the store to try to get this resolved. This product seems very unreliable.

Q: why is this advertised as a timer? It is not a timer and nor is it programmable from the remote as it says. you can simply turn it on and off only from the remote or from the device itself.
