The upper part of the pole, under the cap, is screw that can be used to affect a camera or a phone phone holder (provided) which is handy. The grips are not ergonomic but otherwise the pole works well and is easy to adjust.

Q: How much weight can you load this pole before the telescopic mechanism slides / breaks? Was thinking of trying to replace a broken table leg on my camping table. If it supports a burly person hiking, perhaps this would work?

A: Dear Horseshoe Load this pole around 400N(40kg) /piece if put the max length to 135cm. before the telescopic mechanism slides/breaks. Burly person hiking can work.
