Yes it fits but the bristles rub on the inside of the guards on the bench grinder. No harm. Just annoying.

  • A: The arbor hole in the wire brush is 5/8” wide and there is a plastic ring included to reduce the arbor hole diameter to 1/2”. So as long as the arbor on the bench grinder is either ½” or 5/8” it should fit.

Q: Does this work in model 55-3579-6 grinder?

  • A: The 6” side of the grinder is the “dry” side of this wet/dry unit so there should be no problem using the 6” wire brush you are asking about, as long as you use it on the 6” side of the grinder.
