Junk Product

This thing is garbage, stay away from purchasing this tool. I bought it yesterday to solder some small wires at home for a guitar cable, and it only heated up two times before it couldn't do any more.....brand new batteries were installed, and it was still junk. The batteries I mentioned, heated up just about as much as the tip when I checked to see if that was the problem.

This is the first item I bought without checking the reviews out first as I was in a rush. As you can guess I am taking it back tomorrow. There is no need to write any details as to what is wrong with it. Just look into another soldering gun. Your welcome in advance.

garbage do not buy

i bought this product 2 weeks ago, i tryed wiring my brake controal in, it wont even heat up enough to melt the solder!!
complete waist of money!!

the low temp is never working well you have to press on the button like crazy and the green light doesnt stay on ,it flash,flash,flash and doesnt keep the temp!!! its the second i get and returning it tomorrow morning ...
pure waste of money seriously !!

Disapointment

Not impressed, don't waste your money, I returned this product today.
Have soldered since I was 7 (with full supervision of course), also I took a lot of soldering courses during my two year Aircraft Maintenance Engineering College course. As some one who is very experienced with soldering I can tell you this product is totally useless for any soldering projects, whether they are basic or complex. Don't buy this product whether a beginner or expert. I will be trying a Mastercraft Butane Soldering Tool I purchased today from Canadian Tire for the same price as this product, will write a review for it and let you know how it went.
