Difficult to tell if you successfully lit the bbq. Back of bbq is wide open so the lower cabinet fills up with water when it rains

Drip system not ideal

The grill was not too hard to put together and all the parts were there. The burners work well. The grill was not easy to clean. The griddle surface did not clean very well or easily based on its shape and the tools I had. The pan under the griddle collected most of the drippings rather than them running off into the drip pan. I did not like that the pan under the griddle can only be removed from the back. It was so dirty after using the grill that I felt it needed to be cleaned right away, so as not to attract any vermin, which it did even before the first use. The amount of space between the pan and the burners was deep enough for full reign of the rat and the drip pan made a nice bed. The lower drip pan was good in concept but did not ultimately collect much in the way of drippings or runoff.

No, I do not recommend this product.

  • A: They are not. It took me around 2 hours by myself. It's has been well worth that effort. A very nice upgrade from our previous BBQ.
