Master touch 22

I purchased the Weber Master-Touch 22 after my previous grill names after the little French emperor had reached the end of its life. I decided to give Weber a try because I had heard good things about the brand, and as an experienced BBQ enthusiast, I was genuinely looking forward to using it. I especially enjoy South American-style BBQ, so I have fairly high expectations when it comes to charcoal grilling. Unfortunately, my experience with this grill has been extremely disappointing. My biggest issue is the shallow cooking depth and the fact that the cooking grate cannot be adjusted in height. With the way I like to cook, this makes it very difficult to control the heat and distance from the charcoal. Almost everything I cook ends up getting deeply burned, even when I carefully manage the charcoal. Controlling the amount and placement of charcoal to achieve the right cooking temperature is also much harder than I expected. For someone who has been BBQing for years, I find the lack of control particularly frustrating. I really wanted to like this grill, but I am having a terrible time with it. I am deeply disappointed with the Weber Master-Touch 22 and honestly wish I had never purchased it.

No, I do not recommend this product.
