Good brushes. Goopy handles.

I have 3 dogs. All 3 are happy with the brushes. I however am somewhat unhappy with the handles. They get gooey. Even before my dog bit the handle the gel was somehow getting out and getting sticky and gooey. The brushes themselves are good.

The handles are designed to be comfortable and many customers seem to like the cushioning of the handle but in your case, that doesn't seem to be what you like. We are sorry about that and suggest that maybe you seek out a harder rubber handle, or a wooden handle - there are plenty on the market and hopefully you can find that suits you. I purchased this to use on my cat. He is very furry and sheds a lot. This brush almost eliminates the loose fur, and is easy to clean. There were a few spots where the fur was bunched up and this brush smoothed them right out.

Good brush bad handle

I bought this brush as I got a puppy that needs grooming daily. As part of training a puppy you are to let them sniff and get to know the brush. The puppy bit the handle one time and the gel came all out. I had to tape up the handle to use it still, or your hands would be sticky from the gel. The brushes are great and the dog doesn't mind when the rubber side starts the brushing then I can use the metal side to really get the burs out of his fur.
No, I do not recommend this product.
