These splicing connectors work awesome. Follow the wire gauge size to use and the cable strip length, Insert the wires and press closed. Easy to open back up for any other work that needs to be done.

Very handy for power tool repair

I have a heat gun in which the power cord's strain relief sleeve became torn. I wanted to replace the sleeve with the new one I purchased. The manufacturer recommended desoldering the cord from the trigger switch to replace the sleeve and then resoldering the cord to the switch. Instead, I cut the conductors to the switch, stripped back the cord to give a new length of conductors, and spliced the conductors together using the Wago connectors. These fit easily into the heat gun's handle. The connector's current and temperature ratings exceed that of the cord's conductors. So the repair was completed without the mess of desoldering and resoldering conductors to the PC board of the trigger. The heat gun with its new strain relief sleeve works perfectly. I bought these connectors from a Canadian company instead of the US-based company from which I usually purchase.
