Pressure Line

I would have given a higher rating as the unit functions well, however, the pressure line is useless. It's so stiff and coiled tight, which makes it almost unusable. I tried leaving it in the sun but that didn't help. This was a huge frustration and lots of colorful words. A better line with a swivel would have made this a real contender. Also, the tips are proprietary. My older Wagner used Graco tips, so all my extra tips don't fit. Thought I was buying a decent brand, as I see a lot of trades using Titan units. This must be their economy line. I'm not a happy camper as I paid full price for this, and now I need to buy a new pressure line. If it was on sale I wouldn't feel so ripped off. I would return it if I didn't use it.

This sprayer was ok, I purchased it to spray my basement ceiling rafters black, it got the job done. I had puchased a smaller sprayer prior to this one, where you added the paint into the unit to spray and that was not nearly as good for a big job and surface as the Titan 1500 style. I will say the hose it not pliable at all, super stiff and although it says its a 25 foot reach, there is no way you get that much reach without it pulling/wanting to kink. I even had troube threading the hose onto the gun , because it has to go in through the metal guide channel that holds the hose away from the gun, and this is at a slight angle, so much so that I kinked the hose and needed two people to hold the hose straight to spin it onto the gun. I would give the hose a 2/10, but the unit itself was decent. I followed the recommendations for spraying latex paint which was a level 5 power, but the gun would still clog and you'd have to reverse the tip , spray it out, and then spin the tip back into spray postition very often, so that was pretty annoying, I did thin the paint out a bit which seemed to help, even though it says you don't have to. I would give it a 6 or 7 out of 10 overall because of the 2 issues above, but it is a lot more affordable than many air sprayers out there.

Poor stain sprayer

It was supposed to be able to spray stain. It was a complete failure. Cleaned it tried it cleaned it again several times. It was not this nozzle as it was supposed to be correct.

Paint sprayer

Would have given 5 stars, everything worked great, except for the very stiff pressure line from pump to spray nozzle. Makes it more difficult to control the spray gun.
