What a time saver!

This was the first time I had used a spray painter and I was a bit apprehensive but I was painting a garden shed and the “by hand” was taking too long. The spray painter was amazing! So quick and sprayed very evenly. I love it! The only drawback is that it is quite heavy when filled with paint. It was difficult to lift it high to get to the top of the shed. Clean up is easy but needs to be done thoroughly and the whole sprayer comes apart to do this. I would highly recommend this product

A: Yes, the Flexio 575 with the iSpray nozzle can apply this product. The manufacturer says that if sprayed, you should back brush immediately. Good luck with your project.

Q: can it spray a solid stain

A: Yes, it can. There are a few things you can do to paint/stain to ensure it sprays well. 1 - Stir the paint/stain with a mixer in a drill until its creamy smooth, about 1 min per gallon 2 - Strain the paint/stain before it goes into the sprayer 3 - Add a flow agent, like Floetrol or Paint Easy (this is not a thinner) for latex paint – Penetrol for oil based 4 - Or you can thin, even as little as 5% can make a big difference, water for water-based materials and mineral spirits for oil-based material. Up to 20% is fine.

Q: Want to spray the Adirondack/Muskoka chairs with varnish. Is there an additive, and what %? Penetrol?

A: Varnish is oil based, so the thinner would be mineral spirits. It may not need thinning with the iSpray nozzle, which is typically used for your fence, deck or walls as it may leave a roller like texture. To help it level you can thin 5% with mineral spirits, then 1 ounce of Penetrol per paint container (on the gun). Set the air power to low and reduce the paint flow until it isn't spitting, then apply the material from about 6-10" away from the project. Q: if i wanted to paint plastic shutters what type of paint would I use with this sprayer?

A: There are so many different types of paint on the market. Your best bet is to ask the team at Canadian Tire or research it online and then give us a call with the type of paint it is and we'll tell you if it is compatible. You always want to pick the coating and match the sprayer to it. This way you will be happy with the finish.
