The description is vague when reading online and the box in person. The item is boxed up in store. I was hoping for it to be a rubber coated metal. Found out once we opened it at home it is a plastic weight with sand inside. Low value long term compared to a metal set. We returned and instead went with cast iron version.

Pay more, get something better

Avoid these. The 10lb has a terrible seem in the handle that will tear up the crook of your hand during movements. It also left an oil stain on my bench, as the plastic is leaching out chemicals.

I’ve had a blast with these kettlebells from Wa:ke - I’ve really taken my time with incorporating them into my new and improved workout routines, especially in light of the new year! They’re sturdy, classic and black and therefore go with everything! Beyond that, they came in a 3 pack (5, 10 and 15 lbs) so I have the ability to switch up my weight load depending on the day and how I’m feeling. They’re covered in a unique pebbled plasticized coating and that means I’m not likely to lose my grip on them!

This 3 piece set of kettlebells is great for working out at home. They’re easy to use and don’t take up too much space. I regularly use the 5lbs one while I’m sitting down for a light arm workout. The large grip is comfortable to pick up and doesn’t slip.
