Too much power on speed #1

I don’t understand how this beater is getting such good reviews. Obviously, they are getting paid to post good reviews. I agree with the poor reviews. Speed #1 is so powerful that ingredients like butter, combined with flour, has everything flying out of the bowl,, onto counter, floor, your blouse,,, the mess was quite horrendous to clean up!! The flour fluff-over even glogged up the front vent on the mixer. Obviously,, these other reviews are mixing up their batters in 5 gallon pails. Paderno is supposed to be a high end product. That’s all l own in pots and fry pans. These are exceptional products. Why are you continuing to produce a handheld mixer such as the Vida mixer for domestic use. I have returned mine. Do not buy until they have improved or rather slowed down the motor on #1.

Ridiculously fast on the lowest speed

I bought this several months ago and have used it three times to try to bake a cake. The lowest speed is so fast that creaming butter and sugar is impossible - the contents spray everywhere and I end up losing the contents and needing to wash the floor after. And on top of that I give up mixing the butter and sugar too soon because I can't stand it and then the cake is not tender. The only reason I did not return it is that I didn't use it right away after purchase.

Expensive and poorly designed

Very poor design since any dry goods like flour and icing sugar get sucked into the front. It’s open at the front to cool it down but that’s exactly where the flour gets drawn into so it clogs up!
