This is a good pizza stone. I bought the other stone before, not paying attention to the maximum temperature it was designed for and it cracked. This stone is high temperature and works well for me.

Cooks Evenly

Meant to get stained but if that bothers you, line it with parchment paper. The stones are a little on the brittle side so careful when going from hot to cold and always preheat before use. I don’t suggest going from hot oven to granite, to any stone surface or even water to that matter. For obvious reasons the drastic temp difference may likely crack the stone. Otherwise it’s great for evenly baking pizza, flat breads cookies, etc.

Q: What is the diameter of the stone, and can it be used in the PADERNO portable outdoor pizza oven with lazy Susan, as an interchangeable stone? If so, I'd like to keep this stone for gluten-free pizzas, to avoid cross-contamination. Please advise, thanks!

A: It is a 14" stone. I have no knowledge of the outdoor pizza oven. This stone can be used in a 500 degree oven or a BBQ so I don't see why not
