Nice Check Valve

Worked great with my sump pumps, I bought two: one for my pedestal pump and another for my submersible (spare) pump. You can hear the check valve working... it sounds like a rapidly bouncing ball... a reassuring sound that lets me know it's working.

Non-Return Valve

Easy to install good value for money. Stopped the back fill and ensured the pump worked more efficiently. I installed it on the outside wall outlet pipe. It worked well Pay close attention to the outlet connection to fit your needs.

Q: does it have a bleed hole built as it should be before the check valve

  • A: No it does not. The bleed hole is required under certain conditions only. The majority of the sump pumps with a bottom suction has their own bleed hole. It is the end user that has to make this hole when required.

Q: is the top piece same outer diameter as 1 1/2 " abs pipe

  • A: It’s specs say it’s 1 1/2” but it’s ribbed to accept non rigid 1 1/2” pipe or a hose and clamp.

  • A: This is used with a sump pump, it is a check valve, let's water go in one direction. ( out of the sump )
