Q: Can a petite adult use this set for riding a bike?

A: yes for sure. im 6ft...i use them...but i would not recommend the set for extreme continuous riding. casual use only.

Q: Why does the "set" consist of 1 knee, 1 elbow & 1 wristguard & not 2 of each? To properly outfitted an average person 2 of each is needed. It's frustrating when you realize you will need to spend twice as much.

Q: Sizing for an 8 year old? The comments and description note child and youth sizing but the choices are S, M and L. So...?

A: We went with the Specifications from CT. Large is for 13+ so we went with Medium for our 9 yo and it worked well. Can always exchange it if the size doesn't work.

Q: Youth vs. senior? - Which would be more suitable for a 5'2, 105lbs petite adult? Worried the senior won't fit securely..

A: We would still recommend the senior as they are secured with velcro straps. However, trying them on is the best way to know as sizing depends on the specific built of the individual.

A: The protective padding (hard plastic) should be outside the joint (knee/elbow); using the velco to secure around your limb.
