The garbage can mechanism that slows the closing broke almost as soon as I started to use it! I tried to return it and could only get store credit. Disappointing.

  • A: I tried to get parts even though mine was supposed to be within warranty. There is "NO PARTS" for this product. I tried.

Q: How do you get the slow open and the stay open lid options to work?

  • A: The step controls the slow open and close. If you want the lid to stay open and no slow close, you have to go over 90 angle. This way it does not activate the slow closing option.
