The garbage can is roomy and fits a bag nicely. The back mechanism to open the lid with your foot came loose and I had to fix that but besides that it's not too bad. Definitely expensive but I guess everything is these days.

A: That is correct, I bought one about three months ago, totally hand free lid operation and closes smooth. Down side no air flow at the bottom of the cab making it very hard to remove the full bag as it creates a vacuum.

A: Its not the heavy duty stainless steel its shell is a sheet of product that looks like stainless steel. It is a good bin very durable and easy to clean. I had it for a year now and there are no scratches or dents and looks like new.
