Horrible, bag won't stay up inside

Bad design when it comes to the flimsy plastic ring that is supposed to keep the garbage bag up. I have had nothing but headaches with this garbage can and trying to keep the bag up in it. You throw anything even slightly heavy into it and the ring and garbage bag fall down inside of it. Sometimes you don't even have to throw garbage into it. It just falls in on itself from the weight of the garbage bag.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I bought one as a garbage can and went back to buy another one for recycling. Foot pedal is very sturdy, the lid closes firmly, and it is a slim unit that discreetly fits in the kitchen.
