Have purchased similar style shelving in the past but this unit didnt have the sharp metal edges that sliced my fingers. Side poles were straight and the joining pieces were well threaded.
TIP - the piece #s are printed on the packaging, not the piece itself, to refer back to the instructions. Super easy to put together, just need to make sure the bottom poles vs top poles are not reversed. Nice to have the option of wheels or leveling feet.

A: Yes, it can be moved while loaded. Its not quite as sturdy as a unit we purchased elsewhere. Does not have a 3"high back on each of shelves to keep items from slipping off the backside. We use this one for garden seedlings and works fine.

A: Hi Tina, the shelving space from the top shelf: 9”,12”,14”,15”,12”, and add 1” to these measurements if you get under the wire lip. Hope it helps. Good luck! André.

Q: Can the unit be used without the wheels? How tall is unit without wheels? I need legs that can be adjusted to level.

A: You probably don't have to install the wheels, however you would need a solid surface. There might be similar units without wheels that are more stable. The wheels add an inch or 2. There is no leveling component to this rack.

Q: Can you used only 3 of the shelves and by doing so it would become a tall 3 shelf unit, with still full flexibility of shelf spacing

Q: The description says each shelf is rated for 400lb but the specs say total capacity is 399lbs. Which is it?

A: Best guess - it is VERY sturdy but with 5 shelves I don’t think it is up to 2,000 lbs with the castors still rolling.

Q: Why do the photos show 2 different designs of shelf? The first photo shows a substantial centre support truss, while the second shows only a single wire.

A: Again, why are there 2 different designs pictured? Should there be a price difference between the 2? I own six of the first design ( centre trussed ), boxed weight of 110lbs, absolutely heavy duty. The 2nd design boxed weight is around 70lbs and when assembled is relatively sturdy, however not what I would call heavy duty.
