Très efficace

Acheté et au départ le rat mangeait l’appât sans déclencher le piège, j’avais mis du beurre de peanuts (juste une petite quantité). Puis j’ai changé de stratégie et opté pour un appât avec plus de challenge pour le rat, simplement un gros bout de fromage (cheddar), que j’ai compressé pour qu’il remplisse 100% du petit trou où l’on mets les appâts, de cette manière le rat devait mettre plus de force pour arriver à manger l’appât. Et 30 minutes plus tard j’entends un CLAP, et le rat est capturé. En résumé, ce piège est très efficace si on utilise la bonne stratégie et le bon appât.

Works well except that it does not always kill

Works well except that it does not always kill the typical 'roof' rat which has long nose, so just traps it by snout, it stays alive for quite a while. Another type of rat has shorter snout, called 'brown' rat but not necessarily that colour.
