The Tomcat Reusable Rat Snap Trap must be horizontal (flat) to be set. It should be placed on the floor up against the wall in an area where you have noticed mouse activity. Once in desired location, push down on the set-arm using either your hand or your foot. While this trap is designed to be used multiple times, it is possible that the spring is worn out or broken if it has been used in the past.

Trap Works Well

The trap works well. The bait cup can be removed and refilled from the bottom of the trap so that no fingers need to be damaged! Setting the trap is also easily done from the back of the trap, keeping your fingers out of the way as well.

Great trap excellent for squirrels aswell as rats.

Great traps for rats squirrels and other small rodents however birds and other not intended critters can get snapped just a warning for anyone sensitive to beware. Eathier way they work Great for what ever gets in it.
