The Unscented Company Compostable Sponge, 3-pk

These are actually quite good and they do absorb an incredible amount of liquid. The material is very soft when wet, great for some jobs and not so great for others.

I had never seen anything like it. I have used another similar product, but this one has two pluses: no odour and a bigger size!

I like this sponge, but am not enthralled with it. I find the size too hard to handle, so I cut it in half. This means that you get more sponges for the price, but I also find it too thin. The white colour looks good, as it is a neutral for any home, but I do find that it holds onto some stains such as curry or red pasta sauce. Since the sponge only lasts me about 2 weeks with daily dish washing, the stains do not matter too much. I prefer the colour of the other brands yellow compostable sponges, since they do hide stains well. The best part of this sponge pack is that it is one of few that comes in paper packaging and not plastic. Overall I will continue to use these as they are decent and the packaging is actually eco friendly, but if they were to improve them I would love to see them thicker and with some kind of eco friendly colouring added. They last as long as all my compostable sponges. Once they start breaking down I have to toss them as they leave little bits of sponge all over the place. Definitely better than non eco sponges...no comparison there. I do not find any smells, even though mine tend to be wet in the sink most of the time. You are supposed to leave them to dry in between uses, but I tend to not get around to that since I am washing up throughout the day. Would love to have them in different colours so that I could have one for bathroom, one for kitchen and be able to tell them apart. Packaging is good, but then Canadian tire gives them to you in a small plastic bag. But they are one of few brands available in Canada easily.

Love these sponges! Last quite a long time with daily use. I throw in the dishwasher top rack weekly to deep clean and they hold up really well. They are large so I cut each in half so I get 6 instead of 3. Half is a perfect size for my hand. Love the unscented company overall, happy to support them!

I love that there is finally a compostable sponge on the market. Gone are the days of plastic disposable sponges!! They work perfect, just like a regular sponge once they've been wet (and are nice and gentle). Really pleased with this product.
