Basic functioning rrademill while it worked

Broke after a year or so. Completly dead. When turned on, can hear two clicks and thats it. Screen is dead, nothing works.

Very basic unit with issues.

Although I do recommend this unit there needs to be some disclosure about the negatives and there's a few. The GOOD, Walking, the unit does the most basic function fine as far as I'm concerned. I don't know about running. As my ceiling is too low to find out. The BAD, and this is shameful, no manual was included, that's a disgrace. The heart rate monitor is completely useless. not once has it ever show my correct heart rate. So be prepared to buy heart rate monitor if that is important to you. Lastly, the power button is in the most rediculous spot 3-4" from the floor, and hard to get to if your setup has the tredmill facing a wall. Power button should be some place higher or some place your foot can hit near the walking pad. After you download the manual (Check the "questions" tab for the pdf) and print it, puting it together was actually not so bad at all. For me, easier than any ikea item I ever tried ;). So, as long as you know what your buying and only care about the main function of walking/running you probably won't be disappointed. Understand, I mean when it's on sale at less than half price I recommend it, barely, otherwise I don't recommend it at all.

A: The Candian Tire Expert's answer is probably only valid for the 622T, not this model. There is no incline setting on the control panel. I don't believe you can change the distance settings from MPH.

A: I believe it is just per use. The 612T has very basic functions and no memory once it has been turned off.

A: Noise is generated but not too much. I use an mp3 player while walking/jogging on it and I can't hear the treadmill even at low to moderate volumes.

Q: Safety cord Shutoff Thinking about buying for person struggling to walk, worried they could fall. Does this have a clip on emergency shutoff cord?

A: Yes it comes with an emergency shutoff key that must be inserted into the machine before it will operate. The key can clip on to a piece of clothing.

Q: The weight says 250lbs...What if you are only using it for walking? I am disabled and it will never be for running, so can a bigger peron be ok ?

A: While this unit folds it will not fit underneath your bed. On this unit the deck folds up instead on the console masts folding down. The hieght when folded is about 5' tall.
