    " Tangle Foot" sticky paste

This product is meant to be used in spring . Tightly wrap an over lapping layer of paper around the tree/shrub you want to protect and hold in place with masking tape. Smear the sticky compound on the paper and that's it. Works best on smooth bark then bugs cant get under the paper I use it in bee keeping on a sticky boards under beehives to trap Varroa mites . The important thing for me is that it is none toxic . The other thing is price . I payed $26 for this tub , so I try to find it on sale . There are different names for the same product. So I shop around but it is hard to find . It works very well , all the instructions are on the container

    Disappointing

This product does not seem to be doing the job it claims. The ants walk right over the paste as if it is not there and continue climbing the tree.

Works ok , but dries out after a few weeks

This worked good at stopping ants from going up my fruit trees and spreading aphids. The paper that came with it I had to secure with electrical tape. The goop that came with it worked well initially but dries out after a few weeks and then ants were able to cross over it. It's has to be reapplied every 12 days or so which is a pain.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Use gloves

It used to be called Tanglefoot I believe. It works. But work with gloves. It doesn't come off your hands even with dawn and lots of soaps and detergents. Don't wipe your eyes if you get even a little on your hands Please. Don't do what I did. Took days for the tears to naturally degrade it... Doesn't feel great on the eye balls. I'm not smart.
