    New to fly fishing and thought this would be easier than a nail knot to leader, i in fact is easier to set up. Its downfall, functionality. It gets jammed up in the guides everytime. I have to set my rod down, and pull the guide through the eyelet at the tip to get to the fly line to be able to cast

    If done carefully these can be an adequate replacement to your factory braided loop. If done wrong you’ll launch your fly, leader, and tippet off into the great beyond. Worth the try for the price. Perhaps YouTube is your friend with this one as the instructions aren’t very detailed.
