This heavy-duty Strata clothesline tightener keeps your line taut and tidy. The compact design features a quick release button for easy operation. Ball bearings allow smooth gliding to eliminate sagging. Tighten up to 1/4” diameter rope, cable or clothesline with a simple squeeze. A: For the tightener you simply enter each end of the clothesline (after determining the required length) through a hole and turn the tightener to tighten until you reach the desired tension (See attached instructions). The spacer is to be used once the clothesline is installed and is designed to hold the clothesline close together while the line is in use. It is used to hold the rope together during use.
