Bought this about a week ago and installed it so I could power my dash cam as well as other things. The rating says max 3 A total, my dash cam uses about .5 A. The splitter didn’t work at all, despite being far under the max amp rating. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. It’s a scam. After doing some more reviewing online I’m not the only one who’s had this is issue. Unfortunately I can’t return it since I opened it. Not. Happy. >:(
