The Best Model for solar use.

In my opinion, this is the best solar, cellular model. The large solar panel, which you can angle independently of the orientation of the camera unit, keeps the battery charged even through winter. My other unit with the built in solar panel has been good too but there were a few days that the solar battery went to 46% and the unit switched over to the backup batteries. I just bought another of these because the transmission and programming has worked perfectly and solar charging, once I did the firmware update last July (25). I highly recommend it.

Very Disappointed

I purchased this as a gift because it came as a complete package deal with the solar charger to also charge the camera so that we wouldn’t have to consistently worry about changing out the batteries all the time. What they fail to make obvious in any of the product description is that although this is sold as a complete set, it doesn’t come with the battery for the solar charger to even charge!!! Nowhere in the description does it tell you it doesn’t come with the battery pack. In fact, in the description, it leads you to believe it’s included. To top it all off, Canadian Tire doesn’t even carry the battery pack you need. We unfortunately couldn’t return it because we had already opened everything and had began set up before we realized this wasn’t actually a complete bundle.

For solar cameras like the Flex-S or Flex-S-Dark, they come with an internal battery that can be charged using the included charging cable. Camera amazing- solar charger no good

Love the quality of camera and instant photos to cell, once battery died solar didnt do anything and now not receiving messages.

Endless junk mail

Camera is fine but I get junk mail from Spypoint every day without signing up for it. And there is no unsubscribe option.. I won’t buy anything of theirs again.
