Bad Product

Bought 2 of them and both failed, one less than a year and returned it, the other was one month over the 1 year warranty. One just stopped working with no power and batteries were good, the other started draining new batteries, it would take around 4 pictures, and when I would check it my new batteries were dead, Canadian Tire wouldn’t take it back or do anything for me, one month over the warranty period. Also heard from another outdoor store that they stopped selling them because they are no good, to many people returning them.

Booklet was wrong

I bought this to replace my other failed trailcams. I wanted to see 4k videos of the deer in my backyard. The booklet said it can hold an SD card up to128 GB, which makes sense because of the video size of 4K.
I bought two Kingston 128gb SD cards. But when I use them, both say “Card Error”.
So I went to their website. I long formatted the card. Still didn’t work.
I can’t return the SD because the packages are ruined from opening up the cards, so I chatted with customer service online. I spoke to Juna.
During the chat, I explained why I couldn’t take the cards back but then I was asked 4 different times to try to take it back anyways.
Even though I followed what Spypoint said would work, I am out the money I spent on the 128 gb SD cards. They won’t replace any SD card unless you buy their 16gb. Which tells me that Spypoint is ok with customers wasting their money on their products by following their directions.
Camera - good
Price - fair
C S - not helpful here
Extras - didn’t work :. Wasted money
Because of the frustration and loss of $, I’ll be taking the camera back
No, I do not recommend this product.

Hello Jack28, you can use a memory card up to 128 GB with the Force-Pro camera, but we suggest doing a long format of the memory card before using it with your camera. We suggest you verify that the Lock button on the side of the memory card is not up otherwise the camera will not recognize it. Even if the cards are brand new, they can be defective. We can exchange them only if they are purchased from our website. In your case, we suggest testing your camera with the 16 GB card that came with the camera to find out if it's an issue with the memory card or with your camera. -KM
