Great rack, good value for money.

I bought this a few days ago and used it on a recent ski trip. It was great, I can carry snowboards, XC skis and downhill skis. It works very well, easy to install, good value for money in my view. The allen key is an actual key, i.e. non-standard with a pin in the middle so you can't unscrew the rack with a regular allen key. My only criticism is there is a lot of plastic in the construction, including the brackets that attach to the car roof rack, but I guess you get what you pay for. Time will tell if the plastic breaks prematurely or not.

Decent attachment to carry skis on the roof rack

Functional and easy to attach to the crossbars. Oiled the locks with WD-40 spray to protect from freezing. Removed 1 star due to the plastic brackets for attaching to the crossbar. Unclear how tight to tighten the screws - afraid that the plastic brackets might break either with age, or when expanding/contracting due to the temperature differences. Does not feel like the plastic brackets would be able to last several years. Only hope to not have those break when carrying the skis on the highway.

Bought this for our suv that came with roof rails. Instal took 15 minutes. Came with tamper proof screws and couple set of keys for the locks. We are able to put 3 sets of skis and 2 snowboards very easily. Would highly recommend.

Very simple ski rack. We use it for alpine and cross-country skis. No issues with the assembly, took approx 20 min and the tool comes in the box.
