This fits my 5 year old boy pretty well. He is above average in height. The gear stays on well once the straps are tightly done and does not slip while he's biking. He's had a few tumbles and the gear has stood up to each one while still maintaining its integrity. Overall my kid loves the character aesthetic and feels like he's a superhero which adds a bit of whimsy to his riding.

First thought these would be a fair choice, especially with the Bell Helmet logo on the back. They are not worth the money- gloves fall apart quickly and pads are poorly constructed.
