Product Details

The SootEater Rotary Pellet Stove Cleaning System is designed to clean both 3" (7.6 cm) and 4" (10.2 cm) pellet vents. This system effectively decreases the risk of flue fire by removing soot and ash build-up, improving the efficiency of your pellet stove. The cleaning system uses flexible 8mm nylon screw-connect extension rods for a powerful rotating forward action. It can navigate multiple bends in vent systems, and features a replaceable whip line. The product works with cordless drills and includes three 3’ (1 m) flexible screw-connect extension rods, two propeller brushes, a long handle stove cleaning brush with scraper, and a user guide.

Cleaned well

Excellent for cleaning main flue, and no problem going around the 90° elbow. Didn’t like the double turn needed to get into the back of the stove and snapped one of the poles. Good product though.

Great Product For Pellet Stove Pipe Cleaning.

This is a great product for cleaning your pellet stove pipe. The only issue is the brush wears out so it would be Nice if Canadian Tire would carry the replacement brushes so you don’t have to purchase an entirely new kit just to get the brushes. I had to order those elsewhere.

Chimney cleaning

I liked the idea of using a drill to turn the brush it worked great but after a few minutes of use the pole snapped off at the connection at the drill. I took the metal piece out and was able to use the pole as a single to clean out from inside the house.

Worked well. Maneuvered easily through the pipes and removed a lot of debris. Be sure to use the small set screw to prevent the brush from unscrewing from the pole(s). Luckily my wife has tiny arms.
