It was the first time I've used this product. I bought an older RV that needed some updates. It's a great product a little pricy but it is rated as best quality for the project. I do recommend you purchase a quality caulking gun as I bought the cheapest one and it was very difficult to spread the caulking.

Q: What is cure time on lap sealants? What Should the temprature for application be

1 Answer

A: The recommended outside temperature for applying Dicor Lap Sealant is generally between 4°C and 32°C, with 10°C - 21°C the best time for easy flowing and curing. Anything below 4°C makes levelling difficult and uneven, clumpy beads. The sealant becomes waterproof in roughly 4 hours and is 80% cured within 48 hours. If memory serves I did mine in late May when we had 2-3 dry sunny days, and so far so good.
