Leaves sags and streaks

I used this product on the black flat trim around my car windows and it looks bad. The instructions say to saturate the sponge with it and at first it looks smooth but as it dries it starts to sag and leave streaks. My first instinct after a few minutes was to try to smooth out the drip marks and streaks but it just made it worse. Do not buy this product as it would be extremely difficult to apply smoothly. Now I have to figure out how to smooth it out. Thanks a lot Simoniz.

Doesn't work on dry porous plastic

I have a Chevy Sonic that has very porous plastic trim. The car is stored outside 24/7. The plastic trim was looking faded and grey. On a black car, this really brought down the overall appearance. I decided to go with a renewal kit instead of a treatment. After the first applications, when it was still wet it looked great. However, when it dried it went from a uniform dark grey to a dalmatian black/dark grey finish. I tried this product three times and each time it seemed to look worse and worse. I then went out and purchased a trim treatment and have been slowly restoring the trim to a uniform black finish. It took three days to ruin the trim and a month to fix it (two to three times a week!). This product is a waste of money and has the potential to ruin your trim. Stick with a treatment that costs half as much.
