A: Without going and measuring, I would say the gauge of wire was #16. That is totally a guess, though. Hope that helps

Q: What is this product? From the picture it might be a 110VAC to 12VDC transformer with 12VDC socket. Description needs to be expanded to include more details.

A: This is a 12 volt marine grade lighter plug with pigtail connections and a flush mount socket with weatherproof cap. Accessory to add on to marine vehicle or for repairs. Only 12v, not for 110v use at all.
