Smooth, precise pens with consistent ink flow and

The Sharpie Pens Fine Point (0.4mm) are really smooth and precise. The ink flows consistently, giving clean lines without skipping, and the tip holds up well over time. The weight is balanced, making them comfortable to write with for long periods. They’re easy to store, and the fine point is perfect for detailed notes, drawing, or shading small areas. Overall, they’re reliable and high-quality pens.

Comfortable, long lasting sharpie pen

I love the way the ink glides onto the paper and creates precise lines. It’s so comfortable to grip and doesn’t smear after you write. It dries right away. The cap stays secure tightly to the top of the pen when in use.

When I'm writing by hand, I choose these every time. Love these! I only like writing with felt tips. They are smooth and just feel better. They dry fast, so no smearing.

Sharpie pens are amazing! They write super smoothly, the colors are bold, and they never smear. Perfect for labeling, crafts, school, and everyday use — we always keep them at home because they’re so reliable!

Favorite pens EVER. They write so smooth and personally I LOVE the fine tips. It’s hard to find something with less than .5 tip and finding these was a game changer for me. The packaging is also minimal so you don’t struggle to open them like others.

Q: Will these pens leak or burst if you take them on a plane?

Q: The caps for the last few boxes of pens will not stay of the pens. We are always losing our caps and therefore using our pens faster. Why has the caps changed?

Q: Hopefully Sharpie support will answer: Are these acid free? And the packaging says “archival quality”, but one of the comments says they are no longer archival quality; have they changed since the ones I just bought were made?

  • A: Hi there, Thanks for reaching out! Sharpie Fine Point Pens are labeled as acid-free and archival quality for use on paper, which means they are designed not to fade or yellow over time under normal conditions. To the best of our knowledge, there have been no recent changes to the ink formula that would affect these qualities. However, we always recommend checking the packaging for the most up-to-date product specifications. If you have further questions, feel free to contact us directly — we’re happy to help! https://www.sharpie.com/support/contact-us Have a great day! Sharpie Consumer Care

Q: @Sharpie I absolutely love these fine tip pens and have been a long time daily user! Lately my lids spend more time on the floor than they do resting on the butt end of the pen. Please improve the snugness of the lids!

Q: Love these pens, but my lids never stay on the pen while in use and the outer material doesn't let you get a good grip. I prefer the silver/black style. Do you still have those available? Thanks so much :)

Q: Why are these fine point, and the thicker regular Sharpies are also fine point? And the Ultra Fine Points are thicker than this, right? It's rather confusing. I want the very thinnest non-ball-point Sharpie. Is this it?
