This Scotty #429 Gear Head Mount Extender allows you to truly customize the position of your fishing rod. With its two adjustable elbow joints, you can lock your rod into the perfect angle. On one end, the No. 428 Gear Head Mount secures any of your Scotty rod holders while the No. 412 post mount connects to any Scotty rod holder (not included). Simple to install and use, the extender gives you full control over where you want your rod during every part of your fishing trip.

Good Scotty product. Would love to see a knuckle to rotate on a different plane. When attached to the transom on an angle the rod holder is on that same angle. Small issue but overall good product.
