Not impressed.

This product does not live up to the hype. Followed all the manufacturer's directions, and got, maybe, a dozen blades of grass after 4 weeks. I will stick to Scotts Thick and Quick.

Q: Can you fertilize or spray for weeds immediately or do you have to wait a week or two.?

A: Fertilizer without herbicides can be used any time before or after application of grass seed. In general herbicides should not be used in areas that have recently been seeded or in areas where lawn seeding is planned. We suggest checking the particular label of the herbicide you plan on using for additional information.

Q: i have a section of my back yard that is bare and muddy, I have a dog i wanted to know if this seed would be good? I was also wondering if this seed were pet friendly in other words I wanted to let her roam on the patch without worry, could I?

A: The Scotts Turf Builder Sun & Shade Mix is safe for use in lawns where pets live and play. When seeding, grass should be kept moist but not muddy. If the area is muddy wait until it has drained or work to improve the drainage first. The grass will germinate more fully and survive longer is the drainage is improved.

Q: How much coverage How much area does this bag cover. Is it also suitable for seeding an area of soil that currently contains no grass at all currently. Like say an entire front or back yard?
