Flawed

Used once as fragile reviewer stated below I took my bike off the trainer and realized the quick release rod had broken in two. Will have to look into ordering a new one.

A little flimsy. The wheel support (where the tires makes contact) is plastic so it’s crooked and that contributes to increased friction because the tire is slipping a little all of the time. It does the job and a good beginner one if you’re not sure.

A: It may NOT work with 29inch wheels/tire combos, the description say only up to 28". Further, this system relies on rear Quick Release axles and using the included rear QR axle. If u have a THRU axle u may have trouble.To the guy who bought the used one or the damaged box without the QR axle included ... that why your personal QR on your bike got scratched - u have to use the "included" Quick Release

Q: How do I determine my bike size? Trainer fits 26 to 28 inch.

A: Most bikes are in this range. The size is measured from the middlle of the sprocket where the chain is, to the top of the frame where the seat post goes into the frame.

A: Further to my question on adjusting resistance So there Is no adjustments setting on the unit like other trainers have like 5 settings low to high You have to use your gears to change resistance

A: Does this mean that the rear bolt thingy that slips out of the centre of the wheel comes out or does not come out? Because it is very important that it can come out and the Schwinn one can be slipped in. Without this, the trainer has nothing solid to grasp and the whole thing is not possible.
