Not a great seed-starter

I found this seed-starting mix to be dry and I had low germination. I would choose a different mix next time.

If you\re starting your own seeds it pays to have specialized soil mix and this one works well, Its a little late for this season but keep it in mind next time you start seeds

My seedlings grew well, there were no large clumps of material in the bag and no damping-off disease. Nothing to dislike about this mix

Great product

11 years ago

I used this mix last year for the first time, and had great results. Plants started in my regular garden soil took 2-3x longer to sprout and grow to an acceptable transplant size. With this mix, I had great germination and strong healthy plants to transplant.
