Fruit fly catcher!

I have found that they are great for catching fruit flies. I just set them up in the pot of a house plant and set the plant near where the fruit flies are flying around. Once they land on them they are stuck! I haven’t (so far) had any problems with other flying insects or bugs on my house plants. Easy to use.

Thank you for sharing your experience with Safer’s® Sticky Sticks. We’re sorry they didn’t catch insects as expected. These traps work best when placed directly in the soil of infested plants, as close as possible to where fungus gnats and other flying pests emerge. Making sure the yellow surface is fully exposed can also help attract them.

I like sticky stiks

I have been plagued with little tiny flies that have come from the potting soil. I purchased when I repotted all of my plants. Sticky sticks are changed once a week and our black with these little flies each time. they are just perfect for taking care of these little flies.

Not as good as the original product.

The original product fabricated in Sweden attract much more fruit flies. This one has paler yellow color and I guess the glue is less stickier. I recommend buying boxes made in Sweden.

A: Safer’s sticky stiks are made with a proprietary glue formula. Glue traps tend to be exempt from OMRI/organic standards because they never come in contact with the plant/soil/product.
