    Could provide better coverage, but paint is difficult to work with

    Works well with Stoneffects paint, but I found that I had to go over sections a few times to get full coverage without leaving spots partially uncovered. That may be due to the paint itself, I'm not sure. Re-covered my whole front porch recently, and then found some areas that could still have been covered better after it dried, so may touch them up later. I definitely like the final finish when complete, but this roller does make me go slower than with regular paint on a wall, for instance.

    Creates nice texture, coverage is hit or miss

    I used this product in conjunction with the Rustoleum Stone Effects Quartz Coating. I found that although the roller gave a nice texture to the application, coverage was pretty spotty. You need to apply the coating REALLY thick in order to achieve coverage and the roller didn't quite obtain this coverage. For my second coat, I ended up using a regular brush for spot touchups on thin spots.
