Frames can change colours!

Used this to paint frames, it worked okay but needed to do 3 or 4 coats to make sure it covers. Make sure to keep the spray moving and not focused on one spot too long.

A: Hi John, We do not recommend applying our Rust-Oleum Chalked Ultra Matte Spray Paints to surfaces that will be submerged in liquids or fuels.

Q: can this be used on terracotta pots

A: Hi Theresa, We recommend priming the terracotta pots first using our Zinsser Bulls Eye 1-2-3 Primer as it is a very porous surface. Then you can topcoat with our Chalked Spray Paint afterwards.

Q: I plan to use this for painting a few mason jars. Is the colour true to the one on the lid? To do 5 jars would one can cover?

A: The color indicated on lid of our Chalked Paint will be the color of the paint once sprayed out. One aerosol can will cover approximately 10-12 square feet at one coat. Without knowing the size of the jars being painted, it's hard to say whether one aerosol can could do five of them.
